can somebody help me with this muscle pain?

what could be the cause, and more importantly, how could you fix the pain/sprain of a woman in her mid 40's who: -doesn't really pick heavy things up -has a sprain (most probably) in her left shoulder, the upper and lower arm? please give relevant info and explain in clear detail, thank you
