Why does the United Stated promote breeding?

I mean, it is all around us. Not only does Christianity promote humans to breed in an overpopulated world, but so does the government. Giving earned credit at the end of the year pays people to have kids. Being single and childless I have had pay may way and earn my dues through work and education. That's it. Is it the uneducated that need this help so they reproduce. Any opinions would be fun to read so do not hesitate to reply.
