Do men have an innate drive to be protective of fertile/healthy looking women?

I'm not gonna lie, if I could only save one out of a 250 pound obese woman, an 80 pound anorexic woman, and a 120 pound woman, I'd save the 120 pound one. Because she is most fit to bear healthy offspring. Not that I want kids with her, but it's just an innate drive, or seems so.
