I need help with flirting! I'm shy!?

I just recently figured out that my crush is now single. He broke up with his girlfriend a couple days ago and I never knew until now. I'm very very shy and I don't want to be too straight forward with him. I mean, he just broke up and I don't want to rush things. Does anyone have any tips on flirting without any obvious contact? Like I said I'm super shy, like, REALLY shy and plus I blush very easily!
