Portable Air-Conditioner Question?

Insufferable heat in my condo due to heatwave and excessive sunlight through four 13 foot windows I installed UV blinds but when it is over 80 degrees outside they don't work - yesterday my condo interior heat rose to 110 degrees Looking in to portable air-conditioners but building rules disallow installing air-con units in walls or windows for aesthetic reasons. I have an unused washer-dryer outlet that was used to take moisture away from the dryer when in motion Question: can I use that to hook up the outlet on the portable air-conditioner to take away the condensation? Any help or any other ideas gratefully appreciated Help! At the end of my tether with heat! So is my poor cat! :) Thanks in advance
