Maths question! - Year 11 General?

This is probably a really easy question but I need help understanding and solving it :) Sarah wants to put her pencils in a cylindrical pencil case. What is the length of the longest pencil that would fit inside a cylinder of height 12cm with a base diameter of 5cm? Thanks heaps!
