In Windows 8 Photo Viewer how do you get the photos to stay in order?

I have been trying to figure this out for an hour and I'm so mad right now. Every time I think I have it figured out, I go into the Photo viewer, where all of the photos are lined up together in a row, and they're out of freaking order. I need them to be in order for a presentation and I've tried finding help through google but people just talk about how sucky it is. I really like the layout and simplicity of it all and how it shows several pictures at once, so if it can't be organized in a specific way does anybody know of any very similar photo viewers that are touch screen friendly like this one is? Is there any way to organize the photos in an order?
