How to overcome fear of flying?

So I've never flown on a plane I've sat in planes because my brother was an aviation mechanic. I am going to visit my sister in January and I have to fly from Fargo,ND all the way to Newark, NJ. I have one stop in Chicago and I'm so scared I'm going to get lost in the airport, but that is the least of my worries. I'm terrified that the plane is going to fall out of the sky or some physco person will be on the flight, or that the pilot will be drunk and make a mistake and we will crash and I will never make it to my destination, or ever make it home. I know I have a higher chance of dying in a motor vehicle crash but that still isn't helping me over come my fear! What should I do?
