If 4(3x + 2) - (x+ 5) = -3 then x = ?

I'm totally stuck. The choices for answers are A) 11/6 B) -11/6 C) 6/11 D) -6/11 & can somebody explain how to do this problem, and problems like these? This is literally the last thing I am stuck on for Algebra.
