Please answer!!! super short?

Recently I decided to cut ties with anyone who took me for granted. I have a friend who's recently been letting on that he likes me. He lives in another town. On Thursday he called, said he was visiting, and we made plans for Monday (today). He was supossed to call/text me over the weekend and hasn't, even after I texted him yesterday. Should I give him another chance or forget about him?
