Will the technician be able to tell if I'm almost in labor tomorrow at my ultrasound?

I'm getting an ultrasound to check my placenta tomorrow... The doctor's not really worried about it anymore but she wanted to keep it just in case. But do you think the tech will be able to tell how close I am to labor tomorrow? Like how much of my cervix is left and whatnot?
