Im 16 years old and I still haven't had my Period!?

My older sisters all started getting their period around 13 years old, and I still haven't had mine yet. I've asked my mom and she told me I would never get one because I am a boy, but I think she is trying to come up with an excuse to make me feel better. Also I know that you can't get your period when your pregnant, well I held hands with a girl I really liked when I was in 6th grade and felt a funny feeling in my private area. Was that me getting pregnant!?!? Im so lost and confused and upset, I can't help but be scared of whats happening, WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MY BODY!?!?
