Changing of surname recommendations?

I know this sound out of the ordinary but i've decided to change my surname. Both my parents have different last names and have been divorced most my life. Theres always been pressure to carry on each side and I know no matter what I chose would result in disappointment. I'm 21 and just started a new life in a new city away from all my family and friends, which is something I needed. The last couple of years were hectic and this is like a new beginning. Im looking for something I can use that doesnt sound tacky or out of ordinary but also holds some form of meaning relivent to being new or born. Any suggestions would be helpful!
