Is Los Angeles or Vegas a better market for a retail store?

I want to open a retail store I have connects and knows how the business works... But I don't know what market is better and where in Las Vegas or Los Angeles, also the clothing I will have is high end but affordable kind of in the mid range not forever 21 (although they are crazy successful) lol
