Question #11200064

Can there be time without motion?

Just a quick thought that popped into my head: The only way to measure time, as it appears to me, is through motion. All of our clocks' hands move. Our standard measurement of time, in fact, is based on the speed of light; with speed in turn only measurable with a time interval.
