How do I tell a girl I like her?

There is this girl I work with and I really like her.. At one point she told my cousin that if I were to ask her out she doesn't know what she would say but if she says no it would only be because she values our friendship.. Later she said that she only sees me as a friend.. But I never told her how I feel.. And I feel like I should tell her but I don't know how cuz I'm afraid she will reject me.. How do I tell her how I feel cuz I'm crazy about her?? I was thinking about since I'm on vacation all next week is wait till Wednesday and text her saying I want to tell her something but in person. And tell her at work the following Monday.. Is that a good way to tell her?? Thanks for reading this
