Do I really like him? Or am I in love with him?

I've been dating this guy for about a month and a half now and I feel genuinely happy. I feel like we really connect and that everything is great. Before I had some commitment issues and I used to get really freaked out and bored of people really easily. Anyways its like he's perfect to me and whenever I'm not around him I sort of subconsciously miss him. He's not the most good looking guy ever and I was quite shallow before. I only concentrated on the fact that boys were good looking or not but now I don't even care. I'm 14 (I know I'm young and I should be concentrating on studies and schoolwork but I always put school before relationships). My friends think that we are in love and sometimes I really do think we are but I don't know if love exists at 14 years old...
