Question #11200267

Does or can hyperventilation cause brain damage?

I have anxiety and I hyperventilate pretty much every day involuntarily but some days I'll do it till I get light headed and "high" from hyperventilating and get a tingling in my face. I also without knowing took deep breaths after hyperventalating which is apparently a "game" which people use to knock themselves out. I was just wondering if any of this can cause long term brain damage
