baby shower gift delivery?

I'm going to attend to a baby shower in early December, I just received the invitation, it's late October now. So there's a month to go before the event. I also received the gift registry information, gifts can be ordered online. Since this is very early to the event, but in case I don't forget about it, I want to buy the gift now, my question is: shall I deliver to the mother-to-be's home or my own place and hand the gift in person when attending the event? (The online gift registry place also gives the option of delivering to the mother-to-be's address. ) Thank you!
