the touchpad click on my laptop doesn't work after cleaning it with a wet wipe?

I cleaned my fujitsu siemens (windows xp) laptop with a wet whipe and i can't click anything with my touchpad. the mouse moves but i cant click! wtf happened?? what can i do??
