Should i get with him?

Theres this guy in my school who i have the biggest crush on he makes my heart beat so hard and so on. I like him so so much but my best friend also really likes him but at the moment me and my best friend aren't on good terms. Im not the b***hy type but i just want some advice on this i highly doubt i'd ever try anything on him anyway. I can't talk to attractive guys because things just burst out of my mouth without thinking and go all girly and giggly X(
