Why does my wifi signal randomly go bad?

My Windows 8 computer is connected wirelessly to my router, it's a Linksys, and the connection just randomly fails. It'll be a solid 3-4 bars for a while, but then it will just randomly drop to a 1 and disconnect. It only happens with my computer. Why does this happen and how can I fix it?
