Question #11650009

Can I get a good internal HDD for under 100 dollars?

149GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD161HJ (SATA) is my current internal hard drive, and it's been around for a while. I think it is time I replaced it, both because of possible quality degradation over time and both because of speed and capacity. And so, I began to wonder: What should I look for with my budget of 100 $? My current computer specs are: PSU: is a Chieftec iArena 500W model, GPA-500S8 Motherboard: is MSI MS-7369 CPU: is AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+Brisbane 65nm Technology RAM: 4,00 GB Single-Channel DDR2 @ 402MHz (5-5-5-18) GPU: 1023MB GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Gigabyte) HDD: 149GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD161HJ (SATA) I'm a gamer, and using Windows XP at the moment. However, I wish to upgrade to Windows 7 after getting a new HDD. Any suggestions are welcome!
