December vacations spots on East Coast?

Hi! I'm looking for a three day vacation spot (December 6th-8th) within driving distance of Maryland. I prefer hiking and outdoorsy things but sadly the majority of that is all closed during the winter. I've been through all of Virginia so if anyone has any other ideas. Please let me know!
