How to get rid of cold sores quick! Help!!?

I have a cold sore come up yesterday! I get them all the time and I hate them :(! I have a job interview on Monday and really don't want to go with this :( any suggestions ?? Do I pop it?? I take lily sine and aciclovior tablets but they don't seem to do much!!! :( x
