Why does my friend smell like Indian food today even though she doesn't eat it?

I ran into my friend Liz (hot blonde) and she smelled a bit funny today. I told her if she had some Indian food, she laughed and said no. Then I asked her if she cooked it, she laughed again and said no. After that I asked if she is wearing a perfume that makes her smell like Indian food, she laughed again and said no. What could be the reason?
