Question #11700319

What would David Hume think about climate change?

If he were alive today, would he think we should do anything about greenhouse gas emissions immediately? Knowing that he is a skeptic of cause and effect, and his philosophy of impressions and ideas, what do you guys think? I think he would say that we can't do anything about greenhouse gases because we don't know that greenhouse gas emissions are the cause of climate change.
