Engineering Thermodynamics problem help! !?

The thermodynamics equilibrium equation can be written as:- f (T,V, P)=0. which can be split into T=f(P, V) ; P=f(V,T) and V=f(P, T) . From the previous three equations V=f (P, T) is mostly applied in derivations and calculations than the other two, why??
