Does anybody remember the Orange League (Pokemon)?

I feel old and sad because It's almost like I'm the only one who remembers old school Pokemon. I remember that Ash, Misty & Tracy traveled on Lapras ( who they rescued from being abused on the beach ) all through the Orange Islands. Ash faced a lot of battles that were different than in Kanto because they all involved some sort of task other than a normal gym battle itself (except for one I remember). Tracy seemed cool and funny, but I missed Brock preparing meals for everybody. Plus this was a turning point Charizard and Ash began to build personal relationship after Charizard was frozen by Poliraph's Ice Beam in "Charizard Chills". Ash ( and Pikachu:) kept Charizard's fire going and he even rubbed Charizard with his bare hands.
