Do you think I hurt my boyfriends feelings?

Yesterday my boyfriend kept saying " I love you" and then he said " I have to tell you something, your my better half. You make everything seem so clear and right, I want to keep you in my life forever" and for whatever reason I started to laugh a lot and said " your scaring me " so we started to laugh more but then he asked " what if I was being serious with what I said no laughing at all what would you be thinking " ...... do you think he was being serious when he said that stuff and I just laughed so he said he was just playing around ?
