Will Financial Aid call the my doctor to verify a written letter?

I am submitting an appeal for Financial Aid at my school. I had a car accident which prevented me from submitting my forms on time. However, I did not go to the clinic because I have no insurance. I had to ask my doctor from my home country to write a letter for me. Will they call to verify? he doesn't speak English. Thank you!
