Why is my best friend getting anxiety?

My best friend has recently been complaining of not feeling good. She has been having anxiety attacks and the will wake her up while she's sleeping. She feels nauseous and says her stomach feels funny too. Why would she be getting these symptoms randomly? Someone please help!! Her anxiety just came about randomly and it is affecting her a lot. Why would she get anxiety when she has never had it before this bad?
