Why didn't she text back?

I am probably overreacting, but still feel the need to get other opinions... So a friend of mine from the school I recently transferred from has texted me on and off as of recently. She always initiates the conversations, and I usually end up being the one to end them. But the most recent conversation we had went like this: Her: Hey. Me: Hey! Her: Wyd Me: On a kayak, and it's freezing! Her: Uh what?! Me: You'd think paddling would keep you warm, but it doesn't Her: You're crazy Me: Wyd? I hope you're warm! Her: Cards. I am! Me: I hate you! Her: I'm sure. Why are you texting if you're in a kayak Me: I had to do something when I took a break Her: Lol nice! Why are you so crazy Me: Cause I'm an idiot Her: I can see that Me: What can I say Why did she never respond? As you can see, I'm so desperate I feel the need to ask a question about this on Yahoo... But any help would be appreciated!!!
