Need help remembering childhood PC game?

It was a clue-type mystery game from the 2000s where monsters were the suspects and guests at a mansion. The beginning of the game shows a newspaper with an article on the front page about a crime. There is also narration at this point describing the crime. The player is then placed in the mansion to walk about and solve puzzles; such as playing a piano and what not. At the end, after collecting all of the clues, the suspects are herded into the attic. At this time the player points to the suspect who, if properly identified, is arrested. This is then followed by another newspaper sequence. Please do help me remember the name of this game.
