Can you help me out with this pls?

So 2 yrs ago I really liked a guy (probably even love) I've never stopped liking him to this day. I think about him everyday. But I know I have to let him go and it wasn't meant to be. He liked me too. but we stopped talking and it hurt. I havent seen or heard from him for 2 yrs, until today . I was walking in front of him when I made a right turn into a street. I didnt stop I carried on walking I just saw from the corner of my eye this figure that resembled him. I carried on walking straight but I am sure he saw me walking in front of him. We were both walking towards the train station. Anyways, he took another path and clearly was hiding or avoiding me. I just carried on walking and promised myself I wouldnt look back, he didn't know I saw him he thinks i haven't spotted him. He took another route i dont know why maybe bc he didn't want me to see him? After couple minutes as he was coming out from the other road I saw him looking around for me. His head turning, and then when he spotted me from afar he was looking at me hard, trying to make out my face? He was staring until he was out of sight. (keep in mind at this point he doesn't think ive seen him) So I want to know why did he act like this? Does he hate me or has no feelings? He took a different route. Why did he act this way? Please guys any help is appreciated . Thank you
