Those that are/have worked at Target?

So I want to be trained in a new department at the store. I'm a cashier and my 90 days is coming up pretty soon. How do I ask to be crossed trained? Is it easy? Who do I talk to and what do I say? Just any advice you could give me? Also which department? I was thinking soft lines...
