Keeping Humidity in a Leopard gecko tank?

I have this $9.00 ALL LIVING THINGS hygrometer for my baby leopard gecko. It's kind of confusingly but I believe the readings show %15 In the cage. How do I achieve a Maximum of %40 humidity? Do I have to mist it.....?
