HTC One didn't update correctly?

I got an unlocked HTC One yesterday w/o SIM card. As I was playing around on it, a pop up message asked if I wanted to install android 4.4 Kit-Kat. I selected yes and it brought to a Team Win Recovery Project v2.6.3.0. I restarted my phone and got a blue screen with teal lines. Could someone please explain how to fix this is SIMPLE TERMS?! Thanks!!
