what's the weather in Philidephia and North carolina like at christmas time?

I'm going to the Caribbean at Christmas and I have 2 stops on the way including Charlotte,and Phili. I'm from England and I'm concerned heavy snow will be in these areas in the usa at that time. does anyone know if these area's experience heavy snow that can cause air travel disruption?
