Can you get gmail in yahoo as pop3?

I added my gmail account details in yahoo " add email settings ", enabled POP in gmail settings, and nothing comes into yahoo ! both old and new emails in my gmail account are still there and in yahoo nothing. I don't want to use forwarding, I want to use yahoo's pop feature. please explain
