What should I do if my mom threatened to kill me?

It's not much of a long story but earlier in the year, I lent my tablet out to my mom's cousin [mainly because I hate feeling mean for denying people and I just have a hard time denying people for some reason]. My mom found out yesterday and went on a huge screaming rant, which normally I can handle. It happens a lot to be honest. Well, today, she told me that, if I want to stay alive, I should never lend/give anyone anything, not even a bag of chips. Now that is a new one because she has never once threatened something like that. I'm honestly not sure what to do... My mom has always had a huge anger problem. What should I do? I don't even know if I'm blowing this out of proportion, but she has never said anything like that to me before so it's scaring me...
