If corn is realy good for us-why does the body reject it out the back door the next day?

I love corn on the cob when it is in season but when it shows up hole in my dump the next day. It makes me wonder if it is really good for 2 legged animals like me.Let us talk and figure this phenomenon out my friends. Only intelligent answers stand a chance for best answer. Thanks
