Why do girls like guys who treat them bad?

I am very very nice and sweet to every girl, pretty or not, I would do anything for them. I am 16 and never had a girlfriend. This guy who goes to my school is nice when he wants to be but he says really rude remarks and he has tons of girls that like him. He disrespects teachers, just yesterday he wore a tshirt with a inverted cross on it and a teacher asked if he could cover it up because she finds it offensive and he asked why and she said because shes religious and he said well I find your ignorance offensive! So why do girls like a disrespectful guy?
