How can I tell eos lip balm is fake?

I bought 2 eos lip balms from the eos site. And they said if it has a yellow tint that it's fake? Or it's supposed to be white or something? Mine is like a whitish super pale yellowish color..I mean shouldn't it be real if it came from the site? And how much tocopherol (vitamin e) is in eos lip balm and how much is too much for it to become harmful?
