Computer black screen on desktop?

So i have been trying to look for answers upon answers to this but i get no solution . I have this problem where everything starts off normal but when i log in my account i cant see nothing on the screen! Its just black , no icons or taskbar ... nothing except the mouse that i can move around . I have tried a coupled solutions such as opening the task manager , applications , new task .. and then typing in explorer.exe. but i get nothing ! Also tried Repair computer , singed in use sytem restore but it ends uo saying system Restore did not complet sucessfully any help is very much welcomed
