I can't save a draft on tumblr?

On tumblr I was working on a post I tried to submit it, but I found out I hit post limit. I decided to save the post as a draft (not wanting to rewrite it) but it won't let me, sending the message saying that I exceeded post limit. Is there a way to save it or this a normal thing?
