iPod stuck in headphone mode?

I was being stupid and I accidentally got my headphones stuck in the headphone jack of my iPod 5. Only the metal part is stuck in it, so i can't get it out. I know the sound still works however because if someone FaceTimes me then it plays the sound, but for anything regular it says that it is in headphone mode. Is there any way to manually change the sound type from headphone to speaker mode? If not, is there any way that I can have sound, whether through headphones or speaker? I tried getting headphones that plugged through the charger port but it didn't work. I have ios 7 if that helps. Thank you!
