Word pre-installed fonts not working?

Well I have just been installing a couple of nice fonts "which all worked fine", when I realized that some of the MS fonts in the folder such as Terminal and Small font, that look like old dos fonts are not access-able in Word and I just need to know, is their a way to make these fonts work in word.
