What do you do if an authorization hold is placed on your card?

Ok so I purchased an item offline couple weeks ago and they took the same amount out twice so I called then they told me its just an authorization hold the first amount is the actual charge and the second is just a pending charge and my money should be back within 3 to 5 days and it has now been 10 days who do I call ? or what do I do I need that money for chrismas shopping
