Does a comment on a topic on an open group in facebook show in the activity sidebar of my friends(non-member)?

If I place a comment to a topic in an open group in facebook, does it pop up in the activity sidebar(located on the upper right of the page) or in the news feed of my friends even if they are not in the open group?
